Data collection is very important for teachers to use hen it comes to calculating test scores or acquiring data for various tasks. Excel is an easy way to set up a formula to coincide  with the data being put into the excel sheet. Since I would like to teach high school drama, this data collection could be useful for calculating ticket sales for shows I would direct or to account for fundraisers we would do as classes to have enough money to purchase rights for a show. I found it interesting to see how they would use the same tools I would but for elementary purposes. The same way I would use Diigo may not be the most helpful for students in lower grades since reading comprehension isn't fully mastered yet. however, Diigo could also work for middle school instruction since that is around the time research papers would be introduced.  Even though I am fully capable of working Publisher, I would like to see other options I could use when it comes to publisher....
